Flavia Pennetta is facing Serena Williams in the quarterfinals of the 2009 US Open tennis tournament. Serena is the highest ranking player left in the tournament has had a pretty easy run so far with little challenges on the way including her last victory over Daniela Hantuchova. Flavia is coming off of a tough win over Vera Zvonareva. This match is pretty typical of Serena Williams who dominates from the start and finishes off Flavia Pennetta pretty quickly 6-4, 6-3.
