The Bay Bridge in San Francisco California will not be open on Tuesday September 8 2009 in the most recent update coming out of San Fran. Workers discovered a substantial crack in one of the metal spans on the Bay Bridge on Saturday. Workers have been trying to fix the problem on the San Francisco area bridge but unfortunately could not complete the work before rush hour on Tuesday morning. If you live in the Bay area traffic is going to suck tomorrow.
* UPDATE * Some last minute scrambling and the Bay Bridge will be open today at 7:00 am Tuesday September 8 2009
