Josmar Flores Pereira is allegedly the person responsible for the hijacking of AeroMexico Boeing 737 earlier today, September 9 2009. According to Mexican police Pereira acted alone. Josmar is a self described minister,recovering drug addict and recovering alcoholic who hijacked the plane in order to speak to the Mexican President. According to Josmar Pereira wife Elisa Melgar her husband was not trying to hurt anyone and just wanted to spread the word about God who he credits for stopping his drug and alcohol abuse seventeen years ago.
