Bruce Pearl the coach of the Tennessee Volunteers has officially apologized for a joke that he made at a recent fundraiser. Bill Pearl told the audience "I've got a tough job. I've got to put these guys from different worlds together, right?" Pearl said. "I've got guys from Chicago, Detroit ... I'm talking about the 'hood! And I've got guys from Grainger County, where they wear the hood.'' Needless to say this off color comment did not sit well with a lot of people so Bruce Pearl apologized earlier today.
