Tila Tequila Nguyen was indeed drinking the night of the alleged attack according to the nightclub owner. Stingaree nightclub owner James Brennan says that several of his employees have said that Tila Nguyen had several shots of Tequila and was seen sipping straight from a vodka bottle. Tila has said that boyfriend Shawne Merriman choked and physically restrained her which ended in the San Diego Charger being arrested. Merriman told Fox Sports News that he was trying to protect Tila from Tila which makes one believe that she was drunk and was about to drive home. Tila Tequila put out a tweet saying that she was allergic to alcohol so was not drinking
