SEPTA goes on strike in Philadelphia causing traffic nightmares for all ages. Workers Union Local 234 decided to begin their strike at dawn this morning, November 3 2009, screwing up commuters from all over Philadelphia who had to come up with new ways to get to school and work. SEPTA provides more than 900,000 people with transportation for each day of the workweek decided to pull the blindside just hours after the Philadelphia Phillies beat the New York Yankees in the fifth game of the World Series.
