Byron Scott has been fired as the head coach of the New Orleans Hornets and will be replaced by current general manager Jeff Bower. The New Orleans Hornets have started off this NBA season with three wins and six losses. Byron Scott is a former NBA all star and had been coaching the Hornets since the 2003-2004 season including winning the NBA coach of the year in 2008.
