Vincent Thomas-Perry McCoy is the USF gunman who ended up not having a gun or a bomb. Turns out that Vincent Thomas-Perry McCoy called in the bomb threat to police saying that there was a bomb on the University of South Florida campus and that a man was seen with a gun. Now McCoy is charged with making a false bomb report which is a felony. When the emergency status was announced across campus Vincent Thomas-Perry McCoy reportedly stood up in the bus he was riding in and announcing he was the person police were looking for. To add to the chaos there was also a man who was walking across campus wearing a cowboy hat, carrying a puppy and a rather large knife sheesh you can not even make this stuff up it is so ridiculous. USF has since long been cleared and has been declared safe by police
