Rapper Shyne is being released from prison after serving eight years of a ten year prison sentence that involved P Diddy. During his prison stay Shyne has undertaken a new name Moses Levi (his birth name is Jamal Burrows) when he switched religions. Back in 1999 Shyne along with Jennifer Lopez and P Diddy were at a nightclub when a shooting took place that left three people injured. After a complicated court case Shyne eventually plead guilty to a shooting charge and a number of people believe that he took the fall to save P Diddy from prison. During his incarceration Shyne recorded two albums.
